UCLA's Faith Nguyen transfers to Texas Tech Soccer

Texas Tech Soccer has secured a transfer with Faith Nguyen, a 5'7 goalkeeper from UCLA. Faith Nguyen is originally from Costa Mesa, California.

Faith is coming from a strong UCLA program who won the 2013 and 2022 NCAA championship and will join another Bruin in Jill Martinez as one of her many new teammates with the Red Raiders.

Texas Tech has quite the boots to fill as the historical Madison White played her last season for the Red Raiders in 2023. Faith will be added to the arsenal of goalkeepers with momentum from a successful year.

Faith graduated early to enroll at UCLA in Spring of 2021. She was invited to the U.S. U-19 National Team in April of 2021 in a virtual format and continued on her collegiate career with UCLA. Faith had her collegiate debut in 2022 and continued to prepare and grow with the Bruins. She played in three games during the 2023 season and recorded shared shutouts for each game.

Faith will be entering a Texas Tech program who went into the third round of the NCAA tournament in 2023 and will have position-specific support under Blair Quinn, an Assistant Coach for the Red Raiders.

Welcome to Lubbock, Faith Nguyen!
